The Sturgeon Creek Rowdies were established in the 1980’s out of the St James area in Winnipeg. Our club started with two dedicated teams, a mens and woman’s. Sadly our mens team had to fold in 2015. We are still a competitive 15’s team within the Rugby Manitoba Senior Woman’s League.

Current / former Rowdies members proudly coach Kelvin High School, Vincent Massey Collegiate, Westwood Collegiate, Stonewall Collegiate, Tec Voc Collegiate, Sturgeon Heights Collegiate and Garden City Collegiate.

Together with Rugby Manitoba we work together to promote Woman’s rugby in Canada.
